EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - Cove Staff - Wednesday, March 20, 2019

The Township of Hamilton is seeking a Day Manager, Beach Badge Checkers, and Lifeguards for the Cove Beach June 15 – Sept. 2.  Hours of operation:  Thursday – Tuesday /11 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Manager must have current CPR, Community First Aid, Lifeguard & Waterfront Safety Cert. with 5 yrs. open water exp. preferred.  Lifeguard positions require current CPR, Community First Aid, Lifeguard & Waterfront Safety Cert. and must be 16 years of age.  Badge Checkers must have current CPR Cert.  Salary commensurate with experience and Twp. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - Zoning Officer - Wednesday, March 20, 2019

The Township of Hamilton is seeking a FT Zoning Officer.  Responsibilities include oversight of the zoning application process, compliance of MLUL and zoning ordinances, and the initiation of enforcement proceedings.  A thorough knowledge of zoning laws and the ability to analyze/interpret municipal ordinances, calculate/compute complex mathematical formulas and effectively communicate with the public are required. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in land use planning, engineering, landscape architecture or a closely related field.  Four (4) years experience in municipal zoning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - Temporary Full Time Laborer - Friday, February 15, 2019

The Township of Hamilton Department of Public Works is seeking a Temporary Full-time Laborer.  Experience in landscaping/grounds keeping, snow removal, minor road repair and the operation of related equipment required.  Must possess a CDL Class B.  Must have the ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time.  40 hrs per week; possible weekends and evenings.  $15.00 per hour.  No benefits.
